Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) has a new Cyprus Chapter founded by twelve Cypriot engineers. The first annual meeting was held in the Californian Restaurant in Nicosia. According to the by-law of the Chapter give officers are elected. The four basic first-term officers are named below. A fifth officer, the "Active Member," was elected. In the tradition of Cypriot engineering societies, the active member is a "go-to" person who gets special tasks done.
